The Mlkro-Pulsaire unit is a continuous seff-cleaning dust filler i capable of
removing dust particles as small as sub-micron; s$e Worn gaseous streams. High
dust collecting efficiency Is maintained without fte use oft intirnalimpving parts
or rapping mechanisms. Versatile application; arid simp icity of operation are
inherent design features. \ \

2- Filter Bags

Filter bags are Installed in the collector after; it has been erecled at the job
site. The unit provisions fonfilter bags fabrlcatep^frpm.' material suitable for
the temperature, moisture and resistance chira^litlcf;f#A^aMi stream
(Table I). Most filter bay materials are 'available with special coating
treatments to Increase collection efficiency. Untreated bags are preferred
when the treatment is harmful to the product. Treatment after bag cleaning
must be accomplished by MlkroPul.
Hopper
The collector Is designed to accept either single or double hoppers, pyramidal
or trough-type design. The hopper usually provides an inlet for the
dustladen gases and an outlet for the collected dust. The hopper outlet Is
adaptable to airlock, slide gate, or screw conveyor control. A diffusa (If
required) absorbs the impact of the high velocity dust particles and
distributes the flow of Inlet gases,
