A late Victorian gold, ruby and diamond<br />

serpent bangle, circa 1880, the engraved<br />

serpent’s head set with six oval and cushion<br />

shaped mixed cut rubies in cut down claw<br />

mounts, with cushion shaped old cut diamond<br />

eyes, on a gold sprung hinged bangle, 4.8cm<br />

inner diameter<br />

A Regency gold, pink topaz and half pearl demi parure, circa 1820,<br />

comprising a necklace with detachable pendant and drop earrings, the<br />

necklace composed of five slightly graduated clusters, each centrally<br />

set with cushion shaped pink topazes in foil backed cut down closed<br />

back settings, within half pearl and gold filigree surrounds, with two<br />

pink topaz and gold filigree connections between, on a twelve strand<br />

fine link back chain to a pink topaz, half pearl and filigree clasp, 41cm<br />

long; the removable quatrefoil pendant similarly set with foil backed<br />

pink topazes and half pearls in a filigree surround, 5.2cm long; the en<br />

suite pendent earrings set with pear shaped foil backed pink topazes in<br />

filigree and half pearl surrounds from pink topaz tops, with fish hook<br />

fittings, 4.5cm long, all in a later Victorian purple velvet bound fitted<br />

case, with a hand written family history of the necklace glued into the<br />

lid and dated 1938<br />
