Three-phase A.C. motors
Customized Motors
Motors with brake
The motors can be fitted with an optional separate mechanical brake. The brakes are equipped with their own terminal box. The winding
of the motor is not subject to thermal strain by the braking procedure. The braking motors are used for lifting and travelling drives, tool
machines, packaging machines, conveying technology, servo drives etc.
Voltages:
The brakes are available with connection voltages 400V ~, 230V~ and 24V.
Other special voltages are available on request.
Version:
The brakes comply with ignition protection type II 2GD EEx d IIC T5 and thus approved for use in zone 1 and zone 2, and zone 21 and
zone 22. The brakes can be used as standard for a temperature range of –20°C to +55°C.
(special version for –50°C to +55°C available). The brakes are fitted with a thermal switch for temperature
monitoring.
Special versions:
- Brakes with manual release
The brake can be supplied with optional manual release. Pulling the manual release lever when disconnected from the power
releases the brake mechanically and the shaft cannot rotate
- Brakes with stationary motor heater
- Temperature monitoring with PTC-resistor instead of thermal switch
- Brake motors with second shaft end
- Brake motors with additional balancing weight
The additional balancing weight is used for starting up and braking without jerking and is installed under the ventilation hood.
- Braking motors with external fan and/or hollow shaft encoder
Motors with an encoder
Motors can be equipped with an optional hollow shaft encoder with the following technical data:
Standard version Special version
Manufacturer: Kübler Kübler
Connection: 3 m cable without plug Other cable lengths with/without plug
Pulses/revolution: 1024 10 – 5000
