weather situation and stockpile <strong>of</strong> <strong>re</strong>lief goods.<br />

• DOH HEMS is on Code White Alert; p<strong>re</strong>positioned drugs and medicines and <strong>re</strong>sponse<br />

teams on standby<br />

DOHV is under Code White Alert. Retained Hospitals, Provincial Health team leaders,<br />

HEMS point persons and Provincial HEMS Coordinators a<strong>re</strong> enjoined to be vigilant and<br />

on stand-by/on call for immediate mobilization to actively monitor all health emergencies<br />

in the <strong>re</strong>gion<br />

• DPWH CAR p<strong>re</strong>positioned road clearing equipment with c<strong>re</strong>ws in landslide prone a<strong>re</strong><strong>as</strong>;<br />

pay loader and c<strong>re</strong>ws on standby for immediate road clearing operation.<br />

• BFP Offices a<strong>re</strong> on heightened alert status effective 15 June 2012. All Operating Units<br />

we<strong>re</strong> di<strong>re</strong>cted to implement <strong>re</strong>spective Contingency Plans and undertake proactive<br />

steps in coordination with <strong>re</strong>spective DRRMCs, PNP, AFP and LGUs; maintain vigilance<br />

and ensu<strong>re</strong> prompt and effective delivery <strong>of</strong> b<strong>as</strong>ic <strong>re</strong>scue services and auxiliary units<br />

for any possible operational needs.<br />

• DA-NIA alerted OCDRC 2 and other concerned agencies about the scheduled dam<br />

discharge on 16 June 2012 (5:00 AM).<br />

C. REGIONAL PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE:<br />

• OCD-NCR continuously disseminates Seve<strong>re</strong> Weather Bulletins and General Flood<br />

Advisories on <strong>Typhoon</strong> BUTCHU to the MMDRRMCs thru SMS and facsimile; advised<br />

members <strong>of</strong> MMDRRMCs, LDRRMCs, Civil Defense Action Group (CDAG and Outdoor<br />

Advertising Association <strong>of</strong> the Philippines (OAAP) to undertake p<strong>re</strong>cautionary me<strong>as</strong>u<strong>re</strong>s<br />

in their <strong>re</strong>spective a<strong>re</strong>a <strong>of</strong> <strong>re</strong>sponsibility (AOR); p<strong>re</strong>position their <strong>as</strong>sets in strategic a<strong>re</strong><strong>as</strong>;<br />

initiates p<strong>re</strong>-emptive evacuation <strong>of</strong> their constituents in the low-lying a<strong>re</strong><strong>as</strong>, submit their<br />

<strong>re</strong>spective action plan for TS “<strong>BUTCHOY</strong>”, and advised OAAP to roll down all their<br />

billboard/tarpaulins in a<strong>re</strong><strong>as</strong> that maybe affected by strong winds and gustiness.<br />

• OCD Region I/RDRRMC I di<strong>re</strong>cted all PDRRMCs to activate their <strong>re</strong>spective<br />

Operations centers and alert concerned <strong>re</strong>sponse local agencies to closely monitor the<br />

situation in their <strong>re</strong>spective a<strong>re</strong><strong>as</strong><br />

• OCD Region II/RDRRMC II continuously disseminating weather advisories and flood<br />

warnings to all chairmen <strong>of</strong> PDRRMCs. Due to <strong>re</strong>habilitation and <strong>re</strong>pair <strong>of</strong> Magapit<br />

Suspension Bridge, Lallo, Cagayan, alternate means (barge, public and private boats)<br />

a<strong>re</strong> provided by the authorities. Personnel from PCG, PNP, Army, LGU Lallo and Brgys.<br />

Magapit and Bangag a<strong>re</strong> deployed to provided safety and security in the a<strong>re</strong>a.<br />

• OCD Region III/RDRRMC III Operations Center is on standby status and continuously<br />

disseminating weather bulletins, flood advisories and gale warning information to<br />

concerned PRDDMC and local DRRMCs in the <strong>re</strong>gion. Closely monitoring the status <strong>of</strong><br />

dams in their AOR.<br />

PDRRMCs Aurora, Bulacan and Aurora a<strong>re</strong> closely monitoring the situations in<br />

<strong>re</strong>spective a<strong>re</strong><strong>as</strong> for any possible effects<br />

• OCD Region IV-A/RDRRMC IV-A – Continuously disseminates weather bulletin and<br />

gale warning to PDRRMCs, CDRRMCs, LGUs and member agencies through SMS;<br />

PDRRMCs Cavite, Laguna, Batang<strong>as</strong>, Quezon and Rizal and CDRRMO Tagaytay<br />

conducted an emergency meeting with DILG and local DRRMCs to discuss<br />

p<strong>re</strong>pa<strong>re</strong>dness plan for <strong>Typhoon</strong> Butchoy. Respective DRRMCs a<strong>re</strong> on standby alert.<br />
