Lasmigona subviridis Conrad 1835 has been previously collected once, though current and historical records exist near prior sampling sites (Figure 15). They were not collected in 2009. It was not possible to examine environmental conditions coincident with L. subviridis because of the paucity of collection records. Figure 15. Leptodea ochracea Say 1817 has been previously collected from three locations in the tidal portion of the Potomac River-Washington Metropolitan basin (Figure 16). In 2009, we observed numerous dead specimens at one of the sites where we previously observed L. ochracea (Table 1). They remain uncommonly encountered during MANTA sampling because habitat throughout in Maryland their range is infrequently surveyed. Figure 16.
