WIN.CBREAD
Syntax
WIN.CBREAD ( TEXT, RESP )
Description
WIN.CBREAD
This routine reads text from the Windows clipboard. It converts cr/lf to a field mark
and tab to a value mark.
Parameters
The following table describes the parameters of the WIN.CBREAD command:
Parameter Description
TEXT Variable to be set with the text from the clipboard
RESP Error code, see table below
Values for TEXT
Value Description
1 Unable to connect to the clipboard
2 Unable to allocate memory to transfer data
3 Data on clipboard is not text
4 There is more than 30K of data on the
clipboard
