Mary A - age 15, female, attending school, born IA;<br />

Jane - age 9, Female, born KS;<br />

Willetts, John H - age 10, Male, attending school, born KS;<br />

Pearson, <strong>Riley</strong> C - age 22, Male, farmer, born IA;<br />

Rowena E [Rumina] - age 18, keeping house, born IL;<br />

Mary J - age 4/12 [4 months], Female, born KS<br />

From the Probate Court, Girard, Crawford County, Kansas, John W. Pearson Estate<br />

27 Sep 1880: In Matter <strong>of</strong> Application <strong>of</strong> Elizabeth Pearson for Letters<br />

<strong>of</strong> Administration for the Estate <strong>of</strong> John W Pearson deceased.<br />

Your? petitioner represents that she is the widow <strong>of</strong> John W Pearson<br />

deceased. That John W Pearson departed this life in Crawford County,<br />

Kansas, Tuesday, the 14th day <strong>of</strong> September 1880. That he owned at the<br />

time <strong>of</strong> his death real <strong>and</strong> personal property. That his personal<br />

property, all in all, including household <strong>and</strong> kitchen furniture,<br />

farming implements,? amounts to about One Hundred <strong>and</strong> Fifty dollars <strong>and</strong><br />

your petitioner asks to be appointed Administratrix <strong>of</strong> the said estate<br />

<strong>of</strong> John W Pearson, deceased.<br />

That William Pearson, George Pearson, Matilda Pearson, Mary Ann<br />

Pearson, Jane Pearson, Elizabeth Pearson, Charlotte Pearson, <strong>Riley</strong><br />

Pearson are all the children <strong>of</strong> John W Pearson deceased now living.<br />

That John H Willetts is a child <strong>of</strong> Nancy Pearson, sister, deceased, <strong>of</strong><br />

John W Pearson, deceased.<br />
