Its environmental challenges are related to its geographic and climate-oriented limitations. Environmental Overview Greenhouse Gas Ranking The regulation and protection of the environment in Namibia is under the jurisdiction of the following: Ministry of Environment and Tourism Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development Major Non-Governmental Organizations: Integrated Rural Development and Nature Conservation (IRDNC). The IRDNC offers anti-poaching systems, development of a program to foster positive relationships between tourists and local rural people, educational programs and fostering of community self-sufficiency.
