The population needs to be managed more actively. It has a broad founder base, which needs to be better balanced. A population size <strong>of</strong> at least<br />
300 monkeys is a minimum, when considering that this is the only viable ex-situ population. Both the AZA <strong>and</strong> Indian Zoo population are not viable,<br />
as there is a dearth <strong>of</strong> females.<br />
