asmus1 Mk II
active Radar Target Enhancer -
completely redesigned, smaller, easier, but unbeatable in efficiency
(Radar-Target-Enhancer = RTE).
rasmus1 Mk II is an active Radar Target Enhancer (RTE). If the equipment receives a radar
impulse while operating in standby mode, it automatically activates itself and reflects an amplified
echo back on the radar display screen of the transmitter. The result is convincing. rasmus1 Mk II
is equipped with a control element (box), which indicates contact with a radar beam optically - by a
flashing LED- as well as acoustically by an pulsing tone. You will see and hear that you are met by
a radar beam. That gives you an additional sense of safety.
The result is impressive:
To be seen is live-saving.
Yachts and boats from wood, carbon, plastic or rubber are
almost undetectable by radar beams. Acute danger of
collision is existing especially with high-speed ferries for
example. With rasmus1 Mk II on board you are noticed for
sure by the professional navy when sailing or cruising on the
highly crowded waterways of the world.
- integrated warning signal transmitter with radar contact
- optical and acoustic announcement: „detected”
- low power consumption in standby mode
- maintenance-free
- simple assembly
- The German Federal Ministry of Traffic strongly
recommends to have a RTE on board
