St. Paul's Celebrates the Summer...
The St. Paul's Childcare Program proudly saluted
the graduating Mighty Hornets Class (pictured at
right) who left to attend Kindergarten in the fall.
The annual event is always a favorite of parents
and staff as the children prepare to start the next
exciting chapter in their lives.

St. Paul's Manor held a variety of events during the warm summer months. From a farmer's market
(pictured below at left) with fresh produce and baked goods to the LUV Ice Cream Social (pictured below
in the middle) and a barbecue just for the men of the community (pictured below at right), something
seemed to be happening just about all the time.
McColl Health Care Center Residents put on their leis, drank
pina coladas and relaxed in an island state-of-mind during
their summer luau. The event featured Hawaiian music,
tropical food and drinks, bright island colors and a dance
performance by the Rhinestone Grannies (pictured at right).
"It was wonderful to have a taste of the islands brought to us,"
said Resident Helen Dick. "From the food and drinks to the
dancing, the event pleased all of our senses."
Villa Residents beat the summer heat by staying in
the cool air conditioning and participating in some
new programs offered in the community. They have
particularly enjoyed the new computer classes and
competition on the Nintendo Wii. They play everything
from bowling (pictured at left) to golf, all from the
comfort of the Villa Living Room. The friendly
competition has created new friendships and allowed
Residents to challenge themselves to improve every time
they play.
