Control In Marking System<br />
Set Textbooks<br />
There are no compulsory set books. This material is designed to be self<br />
contained, but if you should need any other text, you can purchase any good<br />
text in measurement <strong>and</strong> evaluation, especially from among the ones in the<br />
references.<br />
Assignment File<br />
The assignment file will be given to you on registration in this course. You<br />
will use this file to submit All the tutor marked assignments to your tutor<br />
for assessment. Note that the marks you obtain from these assignments will<br />
count towards the final mark you will obtain for this course. Further<br />
information on the assignments will be given to you by your tutorial<br />
facilitator. You are expected to complete <strong>and</strong> submit six assignments. Out<br />
of these six, four will be graded <strong>and</strong> added to the marks you will obtain to<br />
make up your total score in this course.<br />
Presentation Schedule<br />
The presentation schedule which includes the dates for the completion <strong>and</strong><br />
submission of the assignments <strong>and</strong> attendance to tutorials will be available<br />
to you at your study center. Remember to submit All assignments by the<br />
due dates.<br />

Assessment<br />
There are two types of assessment in this course. The first one are the tutor<br />
marked assignments (TMA) <strong>and</strong> the second is the examination at the end of<br />
the course.<br />
In doing the assignments, you are required to apply information, knowledge<br />
<strong>and</strong> methods drawn from the course. You must submit the assignments to<br />
your tutor for assessment <strong>and</strong> grading according to the deadlines given to<br />
you. The assignments count for 30% of your total course mark.<br />
