Youth Council has postponed the<br />
opening of its little ..ed Barn<br />
Shop on Kercheval.on:the.Hill<br />
lor one week from Saturday,<br />
September 20, to Saturday, September<br />
27. This is to allow more<br />
time for collecting student-made<br />
products and rE'~ale items which<br />
all have to be inventoried, priced<br />
and readied lor display and sale.<br />
At the opening Saturday, Si!Ptember<br />
27, there will be prizes<br />
offered, music to atrac! attention<br />
and balloons and streamers<br />
to make it festive. It is hoped<br />
that all Saturday shoppers will<br />
stop by to lend their support to<br />
this volunteer student activity<br />
aimed at plowing proceeds back<br />
into the community.<br />
There is still time lor talented<br />
young people in the community<br />
to present thdr products for sale<br />
in the ,~tore on a commission<br />
basis. Also any families who<br />
have usable athletic equipment<br />
or school items no longer needed<br />
are encouraged to donate<br />
