EXPANDED METAL MESH Expanded metal mesh is a raw metal sheet with apertures. It is produced by cutting the metal whilst simultaneously stretching and forming it and is manufactured from plates or bands. The meshes are neither braided nor welded. Expanded metal mesh can therefore be cut to size as required without loss of cohesion. FORMED FROM A SINGLE PIECE OF METAL Which means that there is nothing to work loose, no fretting strands or strained joins or welds. In contrast to braided or woven products, expanded metal mesh has no loss of cohesion and does not unravel. Expanded metal mesh is therefore the preferred choice for applications where durability, expansion and dimensional stability are required from even the smallest components.
