EXPANDED METAL MESH<br />

Expanded metal mesh is a raw metal<br />

sheet with apertures. It is produced<br />

by cutting the metal whilst simultaneously<br />

stretching and forming<br />

it and is manufactured from plates<br />

or bands. The meshes are neither<br />

braided nor welded. Expanded metal<br />

mesh can therefore be cut to size as<br />

required without loss of cohesion.<br />

FORMED FROM A SINGLE<br />

PIECE OF METAL<br />

Which means that there is nothing<br />

to work loose, no fretting strands or<br />

strained joins or welds. In contrast to<br />

braided or woven products, expanded<br />

metal mesh has no loss of cohesion<br />

and does not unravel. Expanded metal<br />

mesh is therefore the preferred<br />

choice for applications where durability,<br />

expansion and dimensional stability<br />

are required from even the smallest<br />

components.<br />
