The College <strong>of</strong> Health Sciences at the University <strong>of</strong> Nevada, Las Vegas is searching for dynamic and<br />

progressive individuals to fill a variety <strong>of</strong> positions, contingent upon funding, within the College, including:<br />

Assistant Pr<strong>of</strong>essor, <strong>Nutrition</strong>, Tenure-track. Responsibilities will include teaching in and developing an<br />

expanded course selection in the area <strong>of</strong> nutrition in both undergraduate and graduate programs. The<br />

successful applicant will have the opportunity to provide nutrition focused coursework to undergraduate and<br />

graduate students in the departments <strong>of</strong> Kinesiology, Nursing, and Physical Therapy as well as provide<br />

multidisciplinary nutrition content to students in the basic sciences and pre-pr<strong>of</strong>essional tracks. Expansion <strong>of</strong><br />

the nutrition focus opportunities available to students is a goal <strong>of</strong> the College. Applicants will be required to<br />

meet University criteria in the areas <strong>of</strong> teaching, research, and service. An earned doctorate in nutrition is<br />

required and certification as an R.D. is preferred. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.<br />

Preference will be given to applicants with prior university teaching experience. The position is available in<br />
