The DICTATOR <strong>TVS</strong> <strong>door</strong> <strong>locking</strong><br />
<strong>system</strong> makes sure that emergency exit<br />
<strong>door</strong>s are normally securey closed and<br />
that <strong>the</strong>y open without problem in case of<br />
an emergency.<br />
As <strong>the</strong> <strong>locking</strong> <strong>system</strong> is based on<br />
electrical <strong>locking</strong> units, <strong>the</strong> <strong>door</strong>s are no<br />
longer locked during a <strong>power</strong> failure as<br />
only this way <strong>the</strong> "secure" condition of<br />
<strong>the</strong> <strong>door</strong>s, i.e. <strong>the</strong>y are open in an<br />
emergency, can be assured. After a<br />
<strong>power</strong> failure each <strong>door</strong> has to be<br />
locked again with <strong>the</strong> key switch.<br />
In order to avoid an unintended<br />
un<strong>locking</strong> of <strong>the</strong> <strong>door</strong>s during a <strong>power</strong><br />
failure <strong>the</strong> TT1 control terminal can be<br />
connected to a separate <strong>230VAC</strong><br />
<strong>UPS</strong> <strong>power</strong> <strong>supply</strong>.<br />
DICTATOR offers a standard <strong>UPS</strong> <strong>power</strong><br />
<strong>supply</strong> to bridge a <strong>power</strong> failure up to<br />
about 20 minutes. <strong>UPS</strong> <strong>power</strong> supplies<br />
<strong>for</strong> longer back-up times are available on<br />
demand.<br />

The <strong>UPS</strong> <strong>power</strong> <strong>supply</strong> is provided with three DIN plugs. However it is possible to<br />
furnish <strong>the</strong> <strong>UPS</strong> <strong>power</strong> <strong>supply</strong> also with BS-, USE- or IEC-plugs.<br />
