Request<strong>in</strong>g a loan from your<br />
Aust<strong>in</strong> 401(k) plan may seem<br />
like a good idea, but it may reduce<br />
the retirement sav<strong>in</strong>gs that you<br />
have worked hard to accumulate.<br />
Before tak<strong>in</strong>g a loan from your<br />
Aust<strong>in</strong> 401(k) plan, consider all of<br />
your f<strong>in</strong>ancial options and the effect<br />
the loan can have on your future<br />
comfort and sav<strong>in</strong>gs. Tapp<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>to<br />
your sav<strong>in</strong>gs for short-term expenditures<br />
rarely offsets the long-term<br />
consequences.<br />
Before tapp<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>to your Aust<strong>in</strong><br />
401(k) plan sav<strong>in</strong>gs, ask these questions:<br />
