Covering for floor heatings Heat resistance of the floor covering should reply to demand R < 0,15 m2K/W. All commonly used floor coverings are in conformity with the stated demand. Most suitable are materials with good heat conduction – ceramic tiles, marble, natural stone. Other materials suitable for floor surfaces are: - PVC without rubber bed - Wooden parquets – floor temperature must not exceed 28°C. - Laminate floating floors – areal input must not exceed value 60W/ m2, respectively floor temperature must not exceed 28 °C. - Parquets from hard wood – max. 16 mm thick - Airy carpet ( for floor heating recommended by manufacturer ) !!! Carpets with length of hair over 10 mm and with rubber bed, PVC with rubber bed.
