<strong>New</strong> <strong>Exhibitor</strong> Record Expected for <strong>Fair</strong>’s Third Edition<br />
4 May 2012 – Nearly 170 exhibitors from nine countries and regions, a new exhibitor record, will<br />
take part in the third edition of the <strong>HKTDC</strong> Hong Kong <strong>International</strong> <strong>Medical</strong> Devices and Supplies<br />
<strong>Fair</strong>, 7-9 May, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).<br />
The three-day fair, jointly organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (<strong>HKTDC</strong>) and<br />
the Hong Kong <strong>Medical</strong> and Healthcare Device Industries Association, will showcase the latest<br />
developments in medical devices and technology, and hospital and laboratory equipment.<br />
<strong>Fair</strong> highlights include three major zones: the Tech Exchange connects developers of products<br />
with commercial value and companies; the Hospital Equipment zone is dedicated to specialist<br />
electro-medical equipment and technology; and the Rehabilitation and Elderly Care zone will<br />
showcase patient monitoring systems, orthopaedic equipment, wheelchairs and related items.<br />
<strong>Exhibitor</strong>s will share the latest market developments, product innovations and regulatory updates<br />
for medical devices and supplies in a series of seminars.<br />
The concurrent Hospital Authority Convention, one of the industry’s most important regional<br />
events, will bring together healthcare professionals and industry leaders to discuss the latest<br />
developments in the hospital and healthcare sectors.<br />
