The student will be expected to be familiar with a variety <strong>of</strong> text types. Teaching may introduce the student<br />
to a wider range <strong>of</strong> text types in the course <strong>of</strong> their teaching and learning program:<br />

Venn diagram<br />
Venn diagrams use circles to illustrate the relationships between two or more groups <strong>of</strong> objects that share<br />
something in common. They do not have to overlap, however examples that fit into both categories<br />
overlap in the circles.<br />
Visual texts<br />
Any visual communication using language, signs and / or symbols. Visual texts can be in print or electronic<br />
form.<br />
Wiki<br />
A wiki is a type <strong>of</strong> website, where anyone can add, remove and edit any <strong>of</strong> the content quickly and easily.<br />
Probably the best-known example <strong>of</strong> a wiki is wikipedia (http://www.wikipedia.org), an encyclopaedia that<br />
has been created by its users in over 200 languages.<br />
