2 Embedding XMP metadata in application files This chapter describes how XMP metadata in XMP packets is embedded in a variety of file formats. Document interchange is best achieved by applications that understand how XMP is embedded. These descriptions assume that the reader has a working knowledge of the referenced file formats.
