17th century, oak three drawer table. a one board top, followed by carved skirt, side panels<br />

<strong>and</strong> drawer fronts. Three are operating drawers (two on one side, one on other side) with locks,<br />

three are false front, non-operating drawers, all have iron drop pulls. Supported on shaped<br />

tapered legs with stretcher base; ht. 30.5, wd.79.5, dp. 31.5 in. One drawer replaced or rebuilt.<br />

One end of center support loose from wood loss. Height loss <strong>and</strong> age splits. Inactive pest damage.<br />

18th century. an oak dovetailed chest with carved<br />

corner fans <strong>and</strong> decorative designs of fish-scales,<br />

rosettes <strong>and</strong> pinwheels. resting on a shoe foot<br />

base. retains iron lock <strong>and</strong> key, corner straps <strong>and</strong><br />

attached prop stick; ht. 30, wd. 64, dp. 24 in. Old<br />

refinish, butterfly repairs to top, replaced iron hinges.<br />

sides, background painted with swag garl<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />

floral, surrounded by decorative ribbon molding,<br />

front <strong>and</strong> sides of base with molding, all resting<br />

on bun feet. retains iron hardware; ht. 29, wd.<br />

60, dp. 23 in. Broken strap hinge. Expected wear to<br />

decoration. Scattered inactive insect holes.<br />
