Born in 1953 in Hódmezővásárhely.<br />

Education<br />

She completed her studies at the Budapest Aca<strong>de</strong>my of Fine Arts in 1976.<br />

Career<br />

During her career, she has been awar<strong>de</strong>d the First Prize at the Dante Biennale in Ravenna in 1987, Gold Medal of the city<br />

of Rome, also at the Dante Biennale two years later (1989). Among others, she has received Gol<strong>de</strong>n Cross of the Hungarian<br />

Republic in 2002 and Károly Róbert Gold Medal in 2004.<br />

Her artistic works inclu<strong>de</strong> sculptures, statuettes, and lea<strong>de</strong>n-glass win<strong>do</strong>ws.<br />

Her works have been featured in exhibitions in Hungary and abroad, including Germany, Austria, Belgium, Canada and<br />

USA.<br />

Lantos is a member of both the Art Found and the Fe<strong>de</strong>ration of Hungarian Fine and Applied Arts Society. She often works<br />

together with another renowned Hungarian sculptor, István Mate.<br />
