Rashid A. Buttar, DO, FAAPM, FACAM, FAAIM, is a graduate of the University of
Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, College of Medicine and Surgery. He trained in
General Surgery and Emergency Medicine and served as Brigade Surgeon and Director of
Emergency Medicine while serving in the U.S. Army.
Dr. Buttar is board certified in Clinical Metal Toxicology, Preventive Medicine, is board eligible in
Emergency Medicine and has achieved fellowship status in three separate medical societies. He is the
medical director for Advanced Concepts in Medicine, The Center for Advanced Medicine and Clinical
Research in Charlotte, NC, a clinic specializing in addressing the needs of patients with cancer and heart
disease refractory to conventional medical treatments. He also serves as Director of Clinical Research
and Development for V-SAB Medical Labs where he is extensively involved in polypeptide research and
development of innovative drug delivery mechanisms.
Dr. Buttar has lectured world-wide to physicians, been featured on national and international news media
including TV, radio and newspaper and has testified in front of the North Carolina State Congress as well as
the US Congressional Sub-Committee on Human Rights and Wellness at the federal level. He continues to
serve as faculty to teach conventional medical courses such as Advanced Trauma Life Support, PALS and
ACLS. Dr. Buttar is on staff as Nutrition Scientist at North Carolina State University in the division of Food
Sciences and has been ranked as one of the “Top 50 Doctors in the US” since 2003 by Phillips Publishing
and the world famous cardiologist, Dr. Stephen Sinatra.
Vaughn R Cook, OMD, founded ZYTO and has served as Chairman of the Board and
Chief Executive Officer since its incorporation in December of 2004. Dr. Cook is an honors
graduate of Utah State University, has an acupuncture degree from the Oriental Medical
Institute of Hawaii, and an OMD (Oriental Medical Doctor) degree from the North American
Academy of Advanced Asian Medicine. He is board certified and licensed as an acupuncturist in Utah. For
over twenty five years Dr. Cook has worked in the Complementary and Alternative Medical field. He has
specialized in developing technology applications that integrate western and eastern medicine.
William Lee Cowden, MD, MD(H), is the Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board and
Professor of the Academy of Comprehensive Integrative Medicine. Dr. Cowden is a boardcertified
cardiologist and internist who is internationally known for his knowledge and
skill in practicing and teaching integrative medicine. He has co-authored many books and
articles on integrative medicine and has pioneered successful treatments of cancer, autism, Lyme disease
and many other illnesses.
Dennis Cozzocrea, DC is a 1990 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He is
the director of Health Within Wellness Center a Multi-disciplinary practice in Yakima,
Washington. His Center provides Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Nutritional Therapy, Weight
Loss, Massage, EVOX and Wholistic Counseling. He has had great success using the ZYTO
technology to attract many new patients to his practice. In addition, ZYTO has greatly increased his
volume of supplement sales, and patient health and satisfaction. He quadrupled his supplement sales
within the first few months of implementing the ZYTO in his office. He has recently been developing new
biosurveys to assist with chronic allergies and complex emotional issues.
Robert F. DeMaria, DC, DABCO, FASBE, NHD, aka Dr. Bob, has been providing and
championing alternative health solutions to thousands of patients globally for over thirty
years. Realizing that the world needs a drugless “hero,” Dr. Bob has answered the call by
writing seven books in the “Dr. Bob’s Guide to Health” series. These books delve into Dr.
Bob’s expertise in the areas of ADHD, Male and Female Hormones, and Sex and Relationships. Dr. Bob’s
keen intellect and “go-get’em” attitude has resulted in many TV and radio appearances, including regular
segments on Cleveland Fox 8’s New Day Cleveland, WFAN in New York City, and his own “Half-Hour to
Health” television and radio program which airs each Saturday in the Northern Ohio market. Dr. Bob’s
drugless approach emphasizes education, empowerment, and prevention, which are three qualities that
our world needs most. His mission is to provide answers to topics for which we all have questions.
Nick Lamothe, PhD, is a Nutritionist, Applied Physiologist, and Allergy Specialist in
Eatonville, Washington. His company, Allergies Lifestyle and Health, has been making
allergy-testing samples for practitioners worldwide since 1993. He has collected more
than 100,000 virtual stimulus items (VSIs) to help natural health practitioners better meet
the needs of their patients. Dr. Lamothe is certified in more than 65 healing modalities, and is currently
studying Restorative Endocrinology.
David G. Lee, D.C., Ph.D., C.Ad., operates a private practice in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Lee received his first doctorate degree in 1983, followed by a second doctorate in
Public Health in 1999 and is a Licensed Chiropractor Doctor in Georgia and a Licensed
Chiropractic Physician in Florida. Dr. Lee has served as a Consultant for: State Farm, Allstate,
Colonial Penn, GEICO, The Hartford, and Progressive Insurance companies. He has served as a Continuing
Education Instructor for the American Medical Association’s A4M, Logan College, Life University,
Nutri-West Pharmaceuticals, and Teton Wellness Institute. Dr. Lee completed post graduate studies
certification with The College of Addictionology and Compulsive Disorders. He has also served as a
Professor of Pediatrics and Senior Clinical Proficiency for Life University. He is a Nationwide sole Instructor
for Phytobiophysics U.S.A. He has post graduate studies and certifications in Auricular Medicine,
Acupuncture, Activator Methods, Medix Microscopy and Terrain Flow Techniques, Thompson Techniques,
S.O.T. and Applied Kinesiology. He has also been an Atlanta pro sports team physician and serves as a
frequent guest speaker on radio and television programs.
