I am pleased to announce that in place of our Annual Conference in Salt Lake City, ZYTO will host four
Regional Conferences in 2013.
ZYTO conferences are designed for healthcare professionals and are a gathering place for the ZYTO
community to get training, renew friendships, and receive instruction from some of the leading practitioners
in complementary medicine.
Each Regional Conference will last a day and a half, and will focus on a unique and compelling theme that I
have specifically chosen. The presentations will be different at each Conference; each presentation will focus
on how ZYTO biocommunication can provide real solutions to a healthcare industry that is in critical need of
a holistic approach to healing.
A major highlight of the new Regional Conference format is the contribution we will receive from our guest
presenters. I have invited two, industry-leading practitioners to each event to instruct you on how they
effectively incorporate biocommunication into their practices. Their information will allow you to leave each
Conference with proven successful applications that you can immediately implement.
Along with these great presentations there will be over six hours of training by certified ZYTO trainers given
at each of the Regional Conferences.
The venues are centrally located, the topics are engaging, the content germane, and the presentations compelling.
The Regional Conferences are free for ZYTO practitioners and their guests. These Conferences are part of
ZYTO’s commitment to provide ongoing training as part of the monthly subscription package. We will even
throw in meals and snacks to keep you going.

Rashid A. Buttar, DO, FAAPM, FACAM, FAAIM, is a graduate of the University of
Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, College of Medicine and Surgery. He trained in
General Surgery and Emergency Medicine and served as Brigade Surgeon and Director of
Emergency Medicine while serving in the U.S. Army.
Dr. Buttar is board certified in Clinical Metal Toxicology, Preventive Medicine, is board eligible in
Emergency Medicine and has achieved fellowship status in three separate medical societies. He is the
medical director for Advanced Concepts in Medicine, The Center for Advanced Medicine and Clinical
Research in Charlotte, NC, a clinic specializing in addressing the needs of patients with cancer and heart
disease refractory to conventional medical treatments. He also serves as Director of Clinical Research
and Development for V-SAB Medical Labs where he is extensively involved in polypeptide research and
development of innovative drug delivery mechanisms.
Dr. Buttar has lectured world-wide to physicians, been featured on national and international news media

Vaughn R Cook, OMD, founded ZYTO and has served as Chairman of the Board and
Chief Executive Officer since its incorporation in December of 2004. Dr. Cook is an honors
graduate of Utah State University, has an acupuncture degree from the Oriental Medical
Institute of Hawaii, and an OMD (Oriental Medical Doctor) degree from the North American
Academy of Advanced Asian Medicine. He is board certified and licensed as an acupuncturist in Utah. For
over twenty five years Dr. Cook has worked in the Complementary and Alternative Medical field. He has
specialized in developing technology applications that integrate western and eastern medicine.
William Lee Cowden, MD, MD(H), is the Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board and
Professor of the Academy of Comprehensive Integrative Medicine. Dr. Cowden is a boardcertified
cardiologist and internist who is internationally known for his knowledge and
skill in practicing and teaching integrative medicine. He has co-authored many books and
articles on integrative medicine and has pioneered successful treatments of cancer, autism, Lyme disease
and many other illnesses.
Dennis Cozzocrea, DC is a 1990 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He is
the director of Health Within Wellness Center a Multi-disciplinary practice in Yakima,

Michael Payne, MS founded Living Well Today International in 2002 and has become a

the allopathic and homeopathic fields Dr. Shelton holds is that of Diplomate and Fellow of the British
