Just as Amphitrite, the Greek goddess of the sea once did, this
lampshade sits on a throne: a globe perched on three sea horses.
The porcelain feet, which have been made to the highest standards
of craftsmanship, are a design by the MEISSEN ® porcelain manufactory
that dates from the 1920s and has recently been rediscovered.
Thanks to the interplay of the handmade painted lampshade
with gold lamination on the inside and sculptural feet on a luxurious
base, the table lamp is reminiscent of an iconic piece from the
society salons of the golden age. The electric cable is covered in
cloth to match the design.
