– Design and development of the type
– Procurement of the aircraft
– Cost of operations
– Final cost disposal of the aircraft

• LCC is a relevant criterion for optimization, but difficult to be
estimated
– Recourse may have to made to comparisons on relative basis.
– LCC of military aircrafts is more or less directly proportional to mass
and maximum operating speed for Mach 1.3 or below.
