The couple reside in Indianapolis. Kat (Lippie) Wheeler ’04 and her husband, Jay, are the parents of a son, Owen Lee, born on April 6, 2010. Kat works as creative services designer/color correction specialist at Norwood Promotional Products in Indianapolis, and Jay is employed with Industrial Controls & Automation in Franklin. The family resides in Nineveh, Ind. Kara (Bower) Adams ’05 and her husband, Dustin ’07, are the parents of a daughter, Jocelyn, born on Oct. 10, 2010. Josh Deckard ’05 and his wife, Brett, are the parents of a daughter, Riley Marie, born on Aug. 19. 2010. The family resides in Franklin, Ind. Kristin Owens ’05 has joined Easter Seals Crossroads in Indianapolis as an employment services representative. She helps individuals with disabilities in their job searches. Chelsea (Hendon) Reed ’05 has joined the Franklin College Office of Admissions as senior admissions counselor. She coordinates transfer student recruitment, international student recruitment and community partnerships in Hancock, Shelby and Bartholomew counties. Kristin (Hagy) Ross ’05 and her husband, Kevin, are the parents of a daughter, Riley, born on July 9, 2010. Kevin teaches and coaches football at Richmond High School. The family resides in Richmond, Ind. Amber (Hicks) Weatherford ’05 and her husband, Tyler, are the parents of a daughter, Addison Renee, born on April 30, 2010. The family resides in Indianapolis. Stefanie Davis ’06 has been accepted into the masters of library science degree program at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Wilson Mack ’06 and Annie Wantz ’06 married on May 29, 2010, in Plainfield, Ind. Wilson is a graphic designer for International Medical Group, and also a freelance photographer. Annie is a graphic designer for Cummins. The couple resides in Greenwood, Ind. Rachael Niehaus ’06 and Josh Cullins married on April 17, 2010. Noelle Steele ’06 served as maid of honor. Rachael is working as manager of media relations and congressional events for the American Association for Cancer Research in Washington, D.C. Josh is a mechanical engineer. The couple, along with their four-legged canine children, Greta and Perry, have relocated from Indianapolis to Alexandria, Va. Meagan Terlep ’06 is a mental health therapist with Centerstone, a provider of community-based behavioral health care. She resides in Richmond, Ind. Sarah Coffey ’07 recently was awarded an Emerging Leaders Award from the Indiana CPA Society. The organization presents only five of these awards per year, to CPAs who have served their profession or communities in a commendable manner. Sarah is a current participant in the Central Indiana United Way Leadership United program. She resides in Zionsville, Ind. Josh Friend ’07 is teaching English in Oyama-shi, Japan, for the second year. He plans to continue teaching at least one more year. He teaches classes to a range of ages, from children to senior citizens. Charlee (Beasor) Mitchell ’07 recently accepted a position with the Indiana Chamber of Commerce as a communications and public relations specialist. She previously worked for The Hendricks County Flyer newspaper. She and her husband reside in Indianapolis. Caleb Wiles ’07 has made a career switch from teacher to full-time performer. He specializes in performing card magic at corporate events. He has published a how-to book for magicians; High Spots is a collection of 11 original card tricks. Caleb also lectures to other magicians around the country about how to improve their magic. He resides in Indianapolis. Bobby Adams ’08 and Christi Law ’09 married on June 13, 2009, in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Ohio River in Madison, Ind. Alumni in the wedding party included Amanda Bailey ’09, Megan Sweany ’10, Marty Young ’08, Scott Niederhaus ’08, Paul Galbraith ’09 and Brett Miller ’08. The couple reside in Crothersville, Ind. Liz Bassler ’08 recently completed an internship with the Invisible Children organization in Uganda, Africa. The organization is involved in raising awareness about the ongoing rebel war in northern Uganda as a means of helping prevent the abduction of Kristin (Hagy) Ross ’05 and her husband, Kevin, are the parents of a daughter, Riley, born on July 9, 2010. children who are forced into training to become soldiers. In January 2012, Franklin College will, for the second time, offer students a Winter Term trip to Uganda, where they will be involved in numerous service projects. Prior to departure, students will watch the film “Invisible Children” to learn more about the area’s political strife. Mariah (Moon) Blalock ’08 and her husband, Kevin, are the parents of a son, Daniel, born on June 26, 2010. . Lance Mayfield ’08 is teaching fourth grade at Needham Elementary School in Franklin, Ind. He previously worked at Franklin Community Middle School as a special-education teacher. Ryan Meyer ’08 has been named head women’s tennis coach at Thomas More College. He previously was a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Cincinnati and before that an assistant men’s and women’s tennis coach at Franklin College.
