T53 Series - Temperature Wireless Heat/Cool Single Stage Non-Programmable
Description:
The T53 series wireless non-programmable
thermostat is a one stage heat and one stage
cool thermostat. The wireless system is made
up of two components:
1.Thermostat-Transmitter:
Displays room temperature, system mode and
time of day.
The thermostat-transmitter senses the room
temperature and sends a pre-coded signal to
the receiver. The signal will transmit up to 150
ft in open space.
2.Control- Receiver :
Continuously looks for the coded signal sent
from the thermostat-transmitter. The controlreceiver
is wired to the heating and cooling
system. It can be mounted external from the
system or at the location of the old thermostat.
The control has indicator LED's that show
systems operation.
Applications:
Single stage air conditioning and heating,
PTAC systems, Heat pump, etc.

Rooms with walls normally 50 ft.
Precision Temperature Control - Accuracy ±1°F
Compressor time delay protection - 3 minute
off time delay prevents rapid cycling
Power supply - Control-receiver 24vac;
Thermostat-transmitter battery powered, two
“AA” batteries
LED monitoring system - Indicators on receiver
show which system is operating
Auto updating - temperature updating is done
every 5 min. If power to the receiver is
interrupted, receiver will start looking for data
as soon as power is restored. It may take up to
5 minutes depending on when in the update
cycle power is restored
Frequency operation - 916 MHZ provides
noise free operation with 512 codes. The

same code of another thermostat is 1:65536

Engineering Specification
The thermostat shall be wireless using RF of 916.35 MHz to send signals from the Thermostat-
Transmiter to the Control-Receiver. The control shall have LED indicators light when systems are
activated. The transmitting distance shall be 150 ft. open air and 50 ft through walls.The Transmitter
shall be battery powered and the Receiver shall be 24 VAC. Case color shall be white, hi impact
plastic. The display on the thermostat shall be LCD.
