(Disciples of Christ) this spring at First
Christian Church of Mooresville. As a
seminary student, she served as Student
Assistant Minister at Southport Christian
Church from April 1980 to January 1984.
She cumntly serves as Associate Minister
at South Side Christian Church in
Kokomo .
Julie Leak has recently been hired as
the new K-1 Pre-IDEA Resource Teacher
in Perry Township bfted program).
She lives in Indianapolis.
Derek and LaDonna (Riddle) Weber
are finally "back home again, in
Indiana!" Derek has completed a year's
appointment with the Dove Valley Circuit
of the British Methodist Church. He
received his MTh from Perkins School
of Theology in May 1983. He has been
appointed as associate to LaPorte United
Methodist Church where he will begin
in August. While in England, LaDonna
worked as an inventory consultant/
cataloguer for the National Trust at
Sudbury Hall.

Richard A Newbeny has been appointed
vice president for finance and chief
financial officer at NWT National
Resource CQ., a subsidiary of Northwest
Industries Inc. in Chicago. He had been
director of finance and operations since
May 1983. He is a certified public
accountant and a distinguished certlfied
management accountant.

Samuel J. Juett was recently selected
as a research assistant for the university
of Louisville in the graduate school.
Also, he was promoted to a first
lieutenant in the United States Army
Reserve. He has been placed on staff
with the 212th S & S Bn., Jeffersonvilk,
Indiana. Currently, Sam and his wife,
Rev. JoAnne Juett, minister of youth
and music at North Vernon Baptist
Church, live in North Vernon.

Dian K. Dietz has accepted a position
as a programmer with the Alverno
Administrative Services, Inc. in
Indianapolis.
The Alumni News has learned that
Diedre Funkhouser is now a student at
Duke Divinity School in Durham, North
Carolina.
R Joy Partridge has accepted
employment with the Indiana Office of
Occupational Development, following
her year-long experience as a Governor's
Fellow. She is an administrative assistant
to the executive director of the Indiana
Office of Occupational Development.

Peter A. Engelmann was accepted for
admission in the graduate program in
the department of physics and
astronomy at the University of Rochester.
Douglas Zehr has been offered a
graduate assistantship in the
department of biology at Ball State
University for the 1984-85 academic year.

'72 announce their marriage on May 26,
1984 at Acton United Methodist Church.

Henry exchanged wedding vows May
12 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in
Columbus. The bride is employed at the
Bartholomew County Hospital and the
groom is employed at Cummins Engine
Company.

Linda Strodered and A Kevin Fry were
married May 27 at Second Mount
Pleasant Baptist Church. Linda is
employed by Syndistar Inc. in New
Orleans, Louisiana. Kevin is a structural
engineer for River Consulting Inc. in
Metairie, Louisiana. The couple is living
in Metairie.
Sharon S. Kurtz became the bride of
Larry Smith on June 18, 1983. Larry is
a farmer and Sharon teaches first grade
at Clinton Central Elementary School.
The Smiths live in Kokomo.

Westercamp were married June 9 in
Christ United Methodist Church. Kathlcm
is a Perry Township teacher and the
groom an Iowa State University graduate
and senior project engineer for Eli Lilly
and Co.

Clark exchanged wedding vows June 16
in Mt. Auburn United Methodist Church
in Greenwood. Sue is a French teacher
for Indianapolis Public Schools and
Kevin is a pharmaceutical representative
for Berlex Laboratories.

Denise R Sprunger exchanged wedding
vows with Brian J. Fry on June 9. She is
employed as an elementary teacher in
Phoenix, where the couple is residing.
He is employed in Phoenix as a civil
engineer.

Donald Bed and Teresa Bradford were
married in an afternoon wedding on
July 14. The bride is a graduate of Indiana
State University.

Herman J. Bueno was married to Paula
Rose Navarra on May 26 in the
Greensburg St. Mary's Catholic Church.
The bride teaches at Whiteland High
School and the groom is a salesman for
Runners' Forum in Greenwood. The
couple lives in Greenwood.
Saturday, June 9, 1984, Beth Ann Byrum
and Daniel E Sease exchanged marriage
vows in Southport Presbyterian Church.
Beth attends Indiana University School
of Law and is employed by Hammond
and Hammond Attorneys At Law, while
Daniel is employed by Merchants
National Bank and Trust Company.
Dan Bemenderfer and Cheryl Bowers
were married May 12 at Mount Olive
United Methodist Church. The bride is
employed as an optometric technician
for optomcwists Dawn and Phillip Wright.
The bridegroom is a manufacturing
chemist for Allison Gas Turbine. The
couple lives in Greenwood.

Lisa Ann Frenze and Jay Hill exchanged
wedding vows June 2 at the home of
the bride's mother. A trip to the French
Riviera was the couple's honeymoon plan.
Karen Sue Gunn and Kendall Lee Wood
were married August 4 in Center United
Methodist Church. The bride is employed
by LS. Ayres & Co. and the bridegroom
is a biomedical electronics technician
at Wishard Memorial Hospital.
Joan Sachs is now Joan Casson. The
Cassons make their home in Indianapolis.
Nancy J. Stafford and Christopher J.
Mosier were married June 9 in
University Heights United Methodist
Church. The bride is a registered nurse
for St. Francis Hospital Center and the
groom a Ball State University graduate,
