Tracking Array<br />
The <strong>PV</strong> array may either be fixed, sun-tracking<br />
with one axis of rotation, or sun-tracking with<br />
two axes of rotation.<br />
Generally fixed arrays are used though<br />
significant increase in energy yield is possible<br />
with single axis tracking with an additional small<br />
gain using duel axis tracking<br />
Trackers<br />
– add cost but offset by <strong>PV</strong> savings<br />
– require some maintenance<br />
– Very good for water pumping applications
