Behavior Guidelines
BBYO policy forbids possession, use, or consumption of any alcoholic beverages, controlled substances
or illegal drugs at any BBYO program. The staff at summer programs will inspect all personal property, if
deemed necessary.
Any infraction in possession or use of drugs/alcohol or controlled substances will result in expulsion
from the program. In such cases, transportation home will be at the participant’s own expense. No refunds
will be issued. Also, it must be clear that if there is involvement of law enforcement agencies, BBYO will not be in
a position to intervene or to protect in any way, those who violate this policy.
It is important for BBYO members to understand that use of drugs/alcohol may result in consequences in
their home region and local chapter.
