violet, KC-. Subhymenium pale brown <strong>to</strong> colourless. Paraphyses anas<strong>to</strong>mosing,<br />

distinctly thickened above, free. Asci clavate. Ascospores 2-4-celled, hyaline,<br />

ellipsoid-cylindrical, 8 per ascus, 13.5-30.5 x 3-4.5 µ. Pycnidia dark, immersed.<br />

Conidia filiform. Pho<strong>to</strong>biont chlorococcoid. - Note: on calciferous and basic siliceous<br />

rocks with some seepage of water after rain, on steeply inclined, somehow wheathered<br />

faces, in rock fissures and on colonies of cyanobacteria.<br />
