Adventure Club is the premier school-age care program<br />
of the Westonka Public Schools!<br />
Convenient for parents!<br />

Located at Hilltop and Shirley Hills Primary Schools<br />
Open 6:30 am-6:00 pm Monday-Friday<br />
Providing care and enrichment for children kindergarten through sixth grade<br />
Transportation available for fifth and sixth grade from the middle school<br />
Homework Helpers, portable computer lab<br />
Encourages creativity, builds self-esteem and confidence, teaches cooperation,<br />
and promotes positive behavior and socialization skills<br />
Offers a variety of activities; including Clubs, crafts, gym time, science,<br />
building, outdoor play and more.<br />

Kinder Reach<br />
“Half Day Childcare and Enrichment”<br />
for children who are enrolled in the<br />
Westonka half-day kindergarten<br />
program.<br />
Kinder Reach is an extended kindergarten<br />
experience with academic learning and oneon-one<br />
attention, taught by a licensed teacher.<br />
Children have additional opportunities to<br />
practice readiness skills and form social/<br />
emotional bonds with peers. Adventure<br />
Club offers a one -stop drop-off and pick-up<br />
for busy working families. There are fewer<br />
transitions for children—Kinder Reach offers<br />
a consistent schedule, nutritious snacks, and<br />
lunch in a nurturing, caring environment.<br />
Choose from two to five days per week, with<br />
an optional hot lunch provided through the<br />
Westonka Food and Nutrition service.<br />
Special privileges for the<br />
older kids!<br />
Grade 4 enjoys the company of the entire<br />
group; however, they can also help and lead<br />
activities for the younger children. These<br />
children become great friends, helpers, and<br />
role models for each other!<br />
If you are wondering what to do with your<br />
child/ren on non-school days, check out<br />
School’s Out. Staff from our Adventure<br />
Club program plan fun activities for kids<br />
in Kindergarten to 7th grade. We strive<br />
to provide a theme-based setting that<br />
involves both academic and recreational<br />
activities. Non school days are held at<br />
Shirley Hills Primary School and are open<br />
to all students in grades K-7. School’s<br />
