Yoga Storytime
18 months to 7 years w/ Parent or Guardian
Come breathe, stretch and relax in these fun yoga classes
designed for children along with their parent/guardian. We will read fun
stories which will invite us to leap like frogs, fly like birds and butterflies,
act like animals and stand tall like trees. All classes are held in the Shirley
Hills Media Center. Instructor: Annalisa Bragg

Kids Yoga
Ages 8-12
This specially-developed class for kids helps them use the
basics of yoga to build body awareness and tools for connecting body
and mind. Students will learn yoga
sequences, breathing exercises that
aid concentration, and techniques for
settling down and creating a calm mind.
The class has structure and discussion,
and features plenty of fun, laughter, and
music to help junior yogis and yoginis
to shine. All classes are held in the
Shirley Hills Media Center. Instructor:

Birthday Party
Packages
Westonka Community Education
is now offering birthday party packages!
Come and use the space at one of our school
buildings for an ultimate party experience! You
bring the cake and ice cream, and other drinks/
food. To sign up for a birthday party, please
call Sarah Heyer at 952-491-8045 at least
three weeks prior to the party. Party dates are
available based on space availability. All party
packages are for 2 hours. Plates, napkins, cups
and utensils are available upon request for an
additional $12 fee. When you register the party
must be paid in full, no reservations will be
taken without payment. If you need additional
children to attend, it will be $5 per child above
the fee listed. Reservations are made for 2 ½
hours total, 15 minutes prior to the party for set
up and 15 minutes after the party for clean up.
Party Package #1 Pool Party
#1202-A12W $85
Includes: up to 15 children, 1 ½ hours of pool
time (one lifeguard), ½ hour of cafeteria time
for cake, ice cream, and gift opening.
Party Package #2 Gym Party
#1202-B12W $65
Includes: up to 15 children, 1 ½ hours of gym
time with one staff who leads gym games and
activities, ½ hour of cafeteria time for cake,
ice cream and gift opening.
Party Package #3 Kids in the Kitchen
#1202-C12W $85
Includes up to 10 children, 1 ½ hours of
kitchen time with one chef who leads cooking
activities, ½ hour of cafeteria time for cake,
ice cream and gift opening. Call for sample
ideas for food choices. Food costs are
included in the party fee.
Party Package #4 Princess or Superhero
#1202-D12W $65
Includes up to 10 children, 1 ½ hours of
themed activities (games and crafts) led by
one staff, ½ hour of cafeteria time for cake,
ice cream and gift opening. Craft supplies are
included in the fee.
Party Package #5 Other themed party
#1202-E12W $65
Includes up to 10 children, 1 ½ hours of
themed activities (games and crafts) led by
one staff, ½ hour of cafeteria time for cake,
ice cream and gift opening. Craft supplies are
included in the fee. When you register, please
indicate the theme you are looking to do.
