ANNUAL REPORT OF THE BUREAU OF PIUNTING.

Sir :-During the year 1912 there were printed for the several
offices, burt>aus and stock room of the Department, and for the
Paymaster, 981,582 impressions of different kinds of matter, consisting
of letterheads, envelopes, uniform clothing labels and
specifications, circulars, cards, identification slips, blanks, tickets,
notices, handbills and forms of various kinds.
A total of 1,281,800 Daily Bulletins and 11,499 Lost and
Stolen Property reports were also printed during the year.
In addition to the above the names and addresses, with
changes such as transfers, &dditions, separations, etc., were
printed monthly on the pay-rolls of the Department. This required
9,288 impressions of 130 different forms.
The work of the Bureau has been gradually increasing, until
now it has reached the maximum capacity of its equipment.
