This precinct is bounded as follows: Commencing at the
intersection of Devon and Kedzie avenues, thence south on Kedzie
avenue to North Branch of the Chicago River, thence southerly
along the North Branch of the Chicago River to Belmont avenue,
thence west on Belmont avenue to Seventy-second avenue, thence
following the western and northern City limits north on Seventysecond
avenue to Irving Park boulevard, thence east on Irving
Park boulevard to Sixtieth avenue, thence north on Sixtieth avenue
to Bryn Mawr avenue, thence west on'Bryn Mawr avenue to
the west line of the east quarter of Section One (1), Township
Forty (40), Range Twelve (12), thence north on said west line
to Everell avenue, thence west on Everell avenue to Winter street,
thence north on Winter street to Devon avenue, thence west on
the south line of Section Thirty-six (36), Township Forty-one
(41), Range Twelve (12), to Highland avenue, thence north on
Highland avenue and the west line of the east Three Quarters
(%,) of Section Thirty-six (36), Township Forty-one (41), Range
Twelve (12), to the north line of said section, thence east on the
north line of said section to the east line thereof, thence south on
said east line to the north line of the southeast one quarter (%)
of the southeast one quarter (%) of said section, thence east on
said line extended to the west line of Lindstrom & Malmsted's
Subdivision, thence north on the last named line to the north
line of Lindstrom & Malmsted's Subdivision known as Hamilton
street, thence east along the said north line to the east line of
the said Lindstrom & Malmsted's Subdivision, thence south along
said east line to Fulton avenue, thence east on Fulton avenue to
Milwaukee avenue, thence in a southeasterly direction to Devon
avenue, thence , east on Devon avenue to Kedzie avenue, being the
point of beginning.
The area is about twenty and seven-tenths square miles.
