The Village of Schiller Park continues to
thrive in the 21st century. Our 12,000 residents
host thousands more on a daily basis working,
shopping, and playing. Schiller Park’s wide array
of businesses includes retail, corporate offices,
manufacturing and hotels. Our strategic location
near O’Hare International Airport, key railroad
lines and the crossroads of I-294, I-90, Mannheim
Road and Irving Park Road continues to make the
Village a center of commerce for the region.
A brand new mega gas station on Mannheim Road, just south of
Irving Park Road is scheduled to open in late 2009. The new business
is scheduled to include: a convenience store, Turtle Wax Car Wash,
Dunkin’ Donuts, Subway and perhaps a pizza parlor. Other possibilities
for the area include: a restaurant, hotel and retail shopping.
O’Hare Aerospace, a large office complex at the intersection of
Lawrence Avenue and Mannheim Road, continues extensive
renovations and modernization. This large office campus offers
reasonably-priced space for businesses of all types.
The Village of Schiller Park maintains strong property values and safe
neighborhoods. We are proud of the village and will continue to work
hard to make it the best possible place to live and work.
