Our mission statement really tells who we are as an<br />
organization and what we try to accomplish for our<br />
membership as well as for the Village of <strong>Glen</strong> <strong>Ellyn</strong>.<br />
During the course of each year, you will see us hosting<br />
several events around town: some traditional, like the<br />
Taste of <strong>Glen</strong> <strong>Ellyn</strong> and some brand new, such as the<br />
Fashion Showcase. Our membership is always striving to<br />
try new things that will benefit our business community<br />
and the people who live in <strong>Glen</strong> <strong>Ellyn</strong>. The Chamber has<br />
a vast membership spreading from the Central Business<br />
District out to Roosevelt Road and Five Corners—all<br />
interacting to better serve our businesses as well as<br />
bring people into <strong>Glen</strong> <strong>Ellyn</strong> to see this beautiful<br />
community. We also lend a hand to organizations either<br />
by fundraising or through the volunteer efforts of our<br />
dedicated members . Many of our events throughout the year are facilitated by the<br />
Village of <strong>Glen</strong> <strong>Ellyn</strong>. We are sincerely grateful for their cooperation; it is very<br />
important that all of the organizations within the village work together for the greater<br />
community . Please remember to do your shopping locally . We have a plethora of<br />
unique shops with merchandise that you won’t find anywhere else. Your patronage is<br />
what will keep our village vibrant. When you’re done shopping, relax at one of our<br />
wonderful restaurants.<br />

A message from Paul Sivak, Precision Payroll of<br />
America, LLC, who served as Chamber President in<br />
2009 from April through December:<br />
Looking back over 2009, what a busy year it was. The<br />
changes…the challenges…made for an exciting time in<br />
the history of the <strong>Glen</strong> <strong>Ellyn</strong> Chamber of Commerce .<br />
New events and fundraisers for 2009 included the<br />
<strong>Community</strong> Awards Breakfast, Autumn Daze, and the<br />
<strong>Glen</strong> <strong>Ellyn</strong> Fashion Showcase. The Chamber was able<br />
to support its membership and the businesses of <strong>Glen</strong><br />
<strong>Ellyn</strong>, and gave back to the community with<br />
contributions to Supplies 4 Success. Even more new<br />
challenges and exciting events await <strong>Glen</strong> <strong>Ellyn</strong> in<br />
2010! With the support of the community and our<br />
Chamber members, this year will be one of our best!<br />
