Our mission statement really tells who we are as an 

organization and what we try to accomplish for our 

membership as well as for the Village of Glen Ellyn. 

During the course of each year, you will see us hosting 

several events around town: some traditional, like the 

Taste of Glen Ellyn and some brand new, such as the 

Fashion Showcase. Our membership is always striving to 

try new things that will benefit our business community 

and the people who live in Glen Ellyn. The Chamber has 

a vast membership spreading from the Central Business 

District out to Roosevelt Road and Five Corners—all 

interacting to better serve our businesses as well as 

bring people into Glen Ellyn to see this beautiful 

community. We also lend a hand to organizations either 

by fundraising or through the volunteer efforts of our 

dedicated members . Many of our events throughout the year are facilitated by the 

Village of Glen Ellyn. We are sincerely grateful for their cooperation; it is very 

important that all of the organizations within the village work together for the greater 

community . Please remember to do your shopping locally . We have a plethora of 

unique shops with merchandise that you won’t find anywhere else. Your patronage is 

what will keep our village vibrant. When you’re done shopping, relax at one of our

A message from Paul Sivak, Precision Payroll of 

America, LLC, who served as Chamber President in 

2009 from April through December: 

Looking back over 2009, what a busy year it was. The 

changes…the challenges…made for an exciting time in 

the history of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce . 

New events and fundraisers for 2009 included the 

Community Awards Breakfast, Autumn Daze, and the 

Glen Ellyn Fashion Showcase. The Chamber was able 

to support its membership and the businesses of Glen 

Ellyn, and gave back to the community with 

contributions to Supplies 4 Success. Even more new 

challenges and exciting events await Glen Ellyn in 

2010! With the support of the community and our 

Chamber members, this year will be one of our best! 

It was an honor being President of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce.
