At Hinsdale Center for the Arts, we are passionate about what we teach,
enabling our students from toddlers to seniors and everyone in between to
express their creative spirit and talents. Our mission is to educate, encourage
and facilitate participation in the arts. HCA believes the arts are meant to be
celebrated and shared by all, thereby enriching individual and community life.
We offer classes in the visual arts: fiber, painting, drawing, and ceramics,
musical theater, ballet and modern dance and literature. HCA is proud to offer
an extensive music lesson program which encompasses a variety of instruments:
cello, clarinet, drums, flute, guitar, piano, piccolo, saxophone, Suzuki piano,
violin, viola and voice.
In addition to providing classes and workshops, we also present many special
events throughout the year, such as: HCA’s Holiday Home Tour, our tour of
Hinsdale Homes decorated for the holiday season, Adornments, our annual
holiday exhibit and sale of handmade items, our popular Chamber Music Series,
and many more! HCA is the perfect place to take a class, workshop or music
