Coburg Districts Sponsors Donate Vital Equipment<br />

No football club is immune to the tragic<br />

accidents that can result from the intensity<br />

of Australian Rules football. But, thanks<br />

to a little sponsor & supporter group intervention,<br />

Coburg Districts <strong>Football</strong> Club will be better<br />

prepared than most to deal with health emergencies.<br />

At the club’s recently held Sponsor’s Day, the Lions<br />

received pledges from a loyal group of supporters<br />

and sponsors, all who are passionate participants<br />

within their local community, to donate a heart<br />

defi brillator.<br />

Club President Allan Chandler said the recent death<br />

of a country footballer had spurred our club to act.<br />

“We hope that by having a heart defi brillator more<br />

readily available in the community, and by raising<br />

awareness that these devices exist, we might save<br />

lives”.<br />

The Coburg District <strong>Football</strong> Club would like to<br />

thank the following businesses & supporters for<br />

their magnanimous donation.<br />

of Coburg Districts <strong>Football</strong> Club for the past 15<br />

attendance supporting the club.<br />

of the Club (Sunbury Bus Lines) whose family has a<br />

strong and current legacy within the Club’s history.<br />
