Coburg Districts Sponsors Donate Vital Equipment
No football club is immune to the tragic
accidents that can result from the intensity
of Australian Rules football. But, thanks
to a little sponsor & supporter group intervention,
Coburg Districts Football Club will be better
prepared than most to deal with health emergencies.
At the club’s recently held Sponsor’s Day, the Lions
received pledges from a loyal group of supporters
and sponsors, all who are passionate participants
within their local community, to donate a heart
defi brillator.
Club President Allan Chandler said the recent death
of a country footballer had spurred our club to act.
“We hope that by having a heart defi brillator more
readily available in the community, and by raising
awareness that these devices exist, we might save
lives”.
The Coburg District Football Club would like to

of Coburg Districts Football Club for the past 15

strong and current legacy within the Club’s history.

current Head Trainer and Mick also a past player and
