the reunion of the 2001 Premiership Team, on the<br />
30th of July 2011, at the Red Devil’s clubrooms<br />
at Hansen Reserve, Roberts St, West Footscray,<br />
starting @ 1pm. The club will also be announcing<br />
their annual Hall Of Fame Awardee. The cost is<br />

& offi cials of the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s & 90’s<br />
to attend the club’s ‘Back To Braybrook Day’, on<br />

Williamstown <strong>Football</strong> Club is again running their<br />
annual ‘Against the Odds’ award, given to young<br />
aspiring athletes in the western suburbs who have<br />
undergone hardship to play their chosen sport.<br />
Sponsored by Hotfrog Protocol the winner of this<br />
award is presented with a $1000 cheque, $500 of<br />
which goes to his or her local sporting club. In 2011<br />
the award will be presented at the Williamstown v<br />
Port Melbourne game on the 13th of August.<br />
Last years Against the Odds award was presented<br />
to joint winners Shae-Lee Murphy Burke from<br />
the Altona Junior <strong>Football</strong> Club and Jayke Ewer<br />
from Caroline Springs <strong>Football</strong> Club. They were<br />
presented with their awards by guest speakers<br />
Francis Bourke and Robert McGhie. Entrants must<br />
be under the age of 18 and the candidates need not<br />
to have excelled in their chosen sport, but simply<br />
competed and overcome obstacles in their pursuit<br />
to participate. Obstacles may include a disability,<br />
illness, injury, fi nancial hardship, parental issues or<br />
a loss of a family member.<br />

The <strong>Western</strong> Jets are holding their annual Auction<br />
night on Friday 22nd July from 7pm - midnight.<br />
Tickets are $35 which includes a two course meal<br />
and drinks are at bar prices. The Auction night<br />
consists of: a Dutch Auction, Silent Auction and a<br />
Main Auction as well as music trivia and famous<br />
faces. We would love to see as many staff members<br />
