2. The Neolithic complex of Mamarrul Nasr
The .research .focused .on .field .surveys .along .the .northern .side .of .the .Jebel .Douara .

small .Pre-Pottery .sites .in .the .northern .passage .which .connects .the .Douara .Basin .
and . the . flat . steppe . lands . between . Jebel . Douara . and . the . Palmyrides . mountains, .
called .Mamarrul .Nasr .(Eagle’s .Passage) .(Borrell .et .al . .2011) . .Eleven .extremely .high .
concentrations .of .flint .scatters .were .identified .under .rock .shelters .(Mamarrul .Nasr .
1 .to .8, .11, .12 .and .13) .and .one .concentration .of .lithic .artefacts .in .a .cave .(Mamarrul .
Nasr . 10) . . A . large . semi-circular . dry . stone . wall . attached . to . a . bigger . rock . shelter .
(Mamarrul .Nasr .9) .was .also .found . .Finally, .a .huge .structure .identified .as .a .desert-
