sula. Never<strong>the</strong>less, even accepting this,<br />
<strong>the</strong>re are clear differences between <strong>the</strong> two<br />
regi<strong>on</strong>s, and <strong>the</strong>se are worth exploring.<br />
To <strong>the</strong> epigraphist, <strong>the</strong> most striking c<strong>on</strong>trast<br />
between <strong>the</strong>m is in <strong>the</strong> use <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> art<br />
