here, these are the most visible parts on the clock,<br />

every measure should be taken to be sure they are<br />

not scratched or bent. Parts should be flat to<br />

within .010". The locater pins underneath should<br />

be same material as plate. They can be located by<br />

spot facing blind holes from the bottom, pressed<br />

in and then loctited in place. Most important is<br />

that there is no discoloration or show through to<br />

front. They take almost no lateral load and are<br />

primarily for location.<br />
