note: These are highly visible parts on the clock,
every measure should be taken to be sure they are
not scratched or bent. Parts should be flat to
within .010". The rabbet machined into the inner
/upper side of the ring is to .200" depth and needs
to press fit onto the link tube p#5503. The outter
surface is machined down .150" leaving .100".
