crucial here, these are the most visible parts on the<br />
clock, every measure should be taken to be sure<br />
they are not scratched or bent. Parts should be<br />
flat to within .010". The locater pins underneath<br />
should be same material as plate. They can be<br />
located by spot facing blind holes from the<br />
bottom, pressed in and then loctited in place.<br />
Most important is that there is no discoloration or<br />
show through to front. They take almost no<br />
lateral load and are primarily for location.<br />
