<strong>Auction</strong>, having served as emcee<br />
for 13 years.<br />
Not only is Steve a news anchor <strong>and</strong><br />
reporter at WDIV - TV 4, but in 2006<br />
he was recognized by <strong>the</strong> National<br />
Academy <strong>of</strong> Television Arts <strong>and</strong><br />
Sciences for having devoted over 25<br />
years to <strong>the</strong> television industry <strong>and</strong> for<br />
having made significant contributions<br />
to <strong>the</strong> Michigan broadcast community<br />
during that time.<br />
Among his proudest accomplishments<br />
in <strong>the</strong> media, he cites his book<br />
TV - News Writing <strong>and</strong> Surviving, <strong>and</strong><br />
two seasons as “<strong>the</strong> voice <strong>of</strong> Mercy<br />
